Rooted in the natural amphitheater of the morainic hills south of Lake Garda, our winery extends over approximately 20 hectares. We are located in a unique terroir, where the soils composed of layered clay and the mild microclimate regulated by lake breezes create the ideal “climatic cradle” for fine viticulture. It is here that we express the utmost excellence of our native grape, Turbiana (historically known as Trebbiano di Lugana), traditionally grown using the Guyot-espalier system.
Our journey began in the 1930s thanks to the intuition and foresight of founder Vittorio Zenegaglia. This profound dedication was passed down to his son Carlo and today beats in the heart of the third generation. With Elena, Alessandro, and Andrea Zenegaglia, the family preserves a historic liquid legacy, capable of translating the authentic essence, minerality, and flavor of the Garda area into every glass.
In our daily work, respect for tradition coexists in perfect harmony with modern winery technology. We rigorously monitor the entire process from vine to bottle, ensuring a closed and transparent supply chain. Hand-picking and selecting the finest grapes precede gentle, temperature-controlled vinification, designed to preserve the unmistakable citrus, floral, and almond aromas typical of our appellation.
The growth and evolution of recent years have driven us to expand our production facilities. For this reason, winemaking now also takes place at the Montefluno Estate, another family estate located in Pozzolengo, a key municipality of the DOC.
The final processes of aging in steel, bottling, and marketing remain rooted in the historic cellar in the center of Pozzolengo. Our doors are always open to enthusiasts and wine lovers for guided tastings to discover our award-winning Lugana DOC, an elegant and enveloping white wine, perfect for expressing the flavors of our land.
